Kerry: Raising the Tone
Over at Powerline, Hindrocket caught an amusing paragraph in the NY Times :
At a recent meeting of senior staff members, Democrats said, Mr. Kerry's aides became entangled in a lengthy debate over what might seem to be a less than urgent issue: whether they should send a Democratic operative to Bush rallies dressed as Pinocchio, a chicken or a mule, to illustrate various lines of attacks Democrats want to use against Mr. Bush. (They say they want to portray him as a liar, a draft avoider and stubborn.)
This must be part of Kerry campaign manager Mary Beth Cahill's new strategy to raise the tone this election year.
You know they're getting desperate when they pull out the animal costumes...

In this economy, I'll work for anyone. Even Kerry or Halliburton.

Because of his lies and multiple contradictions, I am stunned that Kerry has been given even one ounce of credibility as a Presidential candidate by anyone!
If we actually had an objective press in America, he would have been laughed out of his candidacy a long time ago.
If he manages to win this election, I will blame the mainstream media which is nothing more than a leftist propaganda machine for its influence. I will also hold the public schools at fault for liberalizing our youth.

Personally, I'm for a jackass. Kerry could show up and wouldn't even have to wear a costume.
